I want to stream DVD from MCE to TV can I make dvd smaller?

I ask this because I have all 7 seasons of a certain show each with 7 disks and instead of going to each disk finding the episode and popping it in I'd rather find it on my pc then stream it over. The problem is that each dvd takes up 4.38GB So if I do 1 entire season it'll take up over 30GB, and all 7 seasons will take up over 200GB.

I was looking at ratDVD and it says it compresses full dvds but will I be able to stream them in this format or will I have to convert it back in order to watch? Is there any way to do this? Thanks for any help

Nevermind, I think I found my answer. I'll just convert the DVD to DivX. Hopefully this will work, everywhere I've looked it says Windows Media Center can play DivX files you just need to download the codec. If I'm mistaken someone please let me know thanks.
