I'm new, i read the guides and the FAQ/rules. I just have this particular problem. My roommate just recently copied his entire series 1 of the TV series Lost. Now, i can watch everything except for one of the discs (Disc 3). He can play that particular disc on his computer but I cannot play it on mine or in our stand-alone dvd player. The rest of the discs play fine in both my PC and our stand-alone dvd player. Is it possible to fix this with a program? Does he have to backup that disc again? It's just weird that his PC plays it but not mine or the dvd player. All help is appreciated, and thanks, this is a great site and forum!

DVD burning is just not yet a sure thing, so this (and many other weird things) does happen. The easiest thing to do is probably for your roomate to copy that disc again. But if you like to experiment, you may try e.g. Iso Buster.

Good luck!
