you should have asked the place you bought it.
you should go to them and find out for sure.
It is very important if it has a modchip to know
which one you have.

that means that you do have a mod chip
Does any kind of logo appear on your screen when you
start up the PS2. Other than the Sony logo that is.
Like mine will say Toxic on it because i have
a DMS4 Pro with ToxicOS
You should really ask whoever you got it from what
chip you have
