Are you playing the hard drive files or the backup disc?

Here's a few things to start with:
1) We need to eliminate the media quality,give us the MID code.
2)We need to eliminate fast burning,4x is par and easier on stand alones.
3)Those backups need verified: First in the pc,using the DVD-RW drive that burned it to play it and it should look super. After that,verify on other stand alone players.The more the better.
4) We have to eliminate format,try burning quality media/and maybe the opposite format.Your player may not like that format of media.
5)Depending on your burner model #,it may be capable of booktyping the plus format into dvd-rom.
