My own comment here - While this sounds good (using Ritek), it means the Pearl White no doubt have a distinct difference in quality between the +R and -R formats as the -R discs are CMC coded as per here - http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/214037
(don't yet know if the -R come in other flavours than just the CMC)

hiya, the more info i absorb re media, the more confusing it gets. Just looking over on svp's site to see what deals they've got on and i'm gutted. they're not doing those tubs of 10 Verb 8x +R for £2.49, i only bought 100 or so last time i think. The cheapest i can see are the *cough* sexy *cough* Verb TY discs at £6.49 for 25, might have to stock up on more of those unless i can find something cheaper.
Hopefully they'll have some of these new-fangled Verb Ritek's in soon
mannnnnn...both you UK guys get all the "newest innovations" in media 1st~! first it was TY Verbs, now it's Ritek Verbs, AND you still have the good ole' MCC Verbs...when can i try some of this stuff over here in the U.S.? :(

i'm on a media ROLL tonight, as you were a few days ago creaky, but, i'm gonna try to "suggest" to my Taiyo Yuden rep. to kindly START producing Taiyo Yuden manufactured DVD+R DLs, now THAT would be sweet~ :) i have NO problems with my Verb DVD+R DLs and my Ritek DVD+R DLs either~ both have been GREAT to me, but, when is Taiyo Yuden jump on the DL bandwagon? inquiring minds wanna know~ :)
