Heh, going nuts trying to find an answer to this small question.

(I have an un-modified PS2, and recently was gifted with a real HDLoader disk - works fine, I've loaded my whole PS2 original library)

Does HDLoader require original disks?

Cause I tried one burnt backup ISO and HDLoader said it was an invalid disk. (Tekken 5, I looked it up PS2HD.com to make sure it was original HDLoader compatable).

Yeah, i think your version of hd loader requires original discs. IF you really want to try, you have to make yourself a slide card because when you put in burnt games YOU CANNOT USE THE EJECT BUTTON.

whats up hey if you just burn the game to a DVD-R it will still load on to your hard drive here how to do it after hdloader loads pop out the cd put in gta any thing that is a real playstation 2 game ok now hear come the pain lol jk ok now hit install what ever it called ok now it saying please insert a dvd or cd now use a slide card and pull the drive out take out your gta or what ever now put the burned game in the drive now push it back in pull the little plastic peace in the playstation 2 drive back down and hit x and bam its downloading pretty easy when you get it down shit thats what i do and it works peace have fun and i thought we were not able to talk about burning game from torrent sites but oh well they need to let us
