Splinter Cell Chaos Theory freezes at online loading screen help plz

I recently backed up my copy of splinter cell chaos theory and DNA$ patched it.It loads like a charm and everything,i choose multiplayer online and when the multiplayer loading screen appears i just stays there as if it was frozen although the loading word still dissapears and appears again.I used a Memorex DVD-R,DVD Decrypter and burned it at 4x.If a patch is needed please post a link to the patch.Any help would be appreciated.Oh and also im using a V12 PS2(slim) and Swap Magic 3.6
