hi all
ive copied this game using nero starts perfect with v 3:6 but as soon as you start to try and load a game (cup game or league or even practice) it just freezes halfway every time. tried to burn again at lowest speed possible but still does the same..any ideas?????
I found this on a newzbin thread and it worked for me.....
All people having trouble with swap magic use this guide which works perfectly (ignore step 1)
Step 1.
Decrypt the ps2 game to your hard drive using dvd decryptor.
Step 2.
Open up Isobuster and load in the image file.
Step 3.
Hold shift and highlight all the game files and put them in a folder.
Step 4.
Open up Nero burning rom and create a new UDF/ISO dvd (It's the last one in the list). Drop all the game files into Nero in the same order as it is listed in Isobuster. Just keep Isobuster open as a reference when you do this. Nero will change the order of the files graphically, however they burn in the order that you dropped them in.
Step 5.
Name the image and burn it at 2x.
Step 6.
Presto, you've rebuilt and burned a PS2 game. Play it.
oh, and the resulting image size after you have done this is about 2.9 gig.
If downloaded, size of .iso should be more then 4.4GB.. i think, deleted the files now so cant be sure but yea.. its big, anyways... all you really need to do is rebulid it.
open iso with ISObuster, extract to "Fifa 2006" folder on desktop.
leave ISObuster open, open CD/DVD-ROM Generator 1.20
drag the files from the folder in the order they are in ISObuster
enter the volume Details
[SLES code, Producer name "PLAYSTATION" & License Area: PAL = Europe, NTSC = Japan and America]
Click Rec... (promot to save, call it fifa2006 and save it on your desktop)
2 errors should come up, go through them, then a new box pops up, go to file, export image, save on your desktop
wait for that to be done, open gdvd4-IML2ISO
click on the ... and then find the fifa2006.iml file on your desktop, open it and click start. (that shout creat an .iso and a .txt file)
after thats done, open DVD Decrypter, find the image, put at x2 speed, (i use TDK unbranded x2 compaitible DVD-R)
and burn it... (the final image done by the iml2iso program was around 2.somthing GBs... but once opened in DVD Decrypter it shows as 3.somthing GBs)
Im playing this game as im typing this! no glitches, no errors, no slow downs! everything is jiggy! ;) fuck the TOC size refreshing bullshit and all that "this n that" im to lazy for it!
here is what you gotta do to get that backup running.
using Nero 7 ultra edition or 6 ultra with all them plugins.
run the Nero burning rom dvd UDF/ISO and drop all the "extracted"
Fifa files and burn. that will make the iso file smaller from
4.37GB to 2.81Gb's. and the game will run just like my original.
