divxtodvd menu problem

ok after tying a few times divxtodvd hasnt made any menus for me, i use divxtodvd 1.99.20b. i decided to try a different program and got dvd-lap pro, i worked on it a bit then i noticed that the VIDEO_TS.IFO, VIDEO_TS.BUP, and/or VIDEO_TS.VOB have a menu in it. but when i play the dvds on my pc or ps2 theres no menu, any1 got any idea whats going on?

i use the very first version of vso DivX to dvd.With this the program only encodes your files.If i want to add a menu i now rely on TMPGEnc dvd author.

Depending on how good a menu system you want, you may find the program that i suggest might be a little basic so have a read in the guides section of both the basic and advanced guide before you decide
