Will DMS-4 PRO let me play *japanese/Pal* games? on my U.S PS2 slim?

Hello guys,

Well thats pretty much the question. I just got my PS2 slim and also found some website to buy the mod chip. I really don't care about backup copies. I just need my ps2 to read Japanese games and one pal one I own.

Will the DMS4 PRO do it?

You can play other NTSC games meaning you can play Japanese games but not PAL games.

For what I see it plays japanese. And thats perfect.

Is there any way to play PAL games?

The DMS4 Pro will play PAL games just fine
Juat go into the settings and set force NTSC mode to yes
and it will force all regions to losd in the NTSC
screen mode. Also set Y position fix to on as well
I have PAL & NTSC games and play them both on my
NTSC system just fine.
It will pretty much load anything once you install the
ToxicOS V0.3 including DVD9 back ups
Be sure to also get a laser fix like Summone or Comsoft V4
this will prevent laser burnout and is HIGHLY recommended

One more question: I did a research on the prevention of the laser.

The website I provided above is giving this as a prevention to the laser burnout.

Is that the one you're talking about? It says neofix.. Would that be good? Or I have to buy the one you mentioned before? *Summone or Comsoft V4 *.

it is another laser fix, but i do not know much about
that one. I do know that the two i listed are the best out there
and are used by most places i have seen that sell
premodded PSTwo's
I have the Summone laser fix and have had my modded PSTwo
about a year now with no problems
And with a DMS4 Pro you want to get the ToxicOS not ToxicBIOS
The BIOS will work but does not have all the features
that the OS does.
