Making uncompressed images, easy to be played???

Hello gang, nice to be here,

there goes my 1st post :)

I want to make an image of a dvd that I want to be able to open in a player (like PowerDVD, for instance).

This image would have to be identical to the original DVD and behave the same when opened. I don't want to compress it or burn it on CD-r or DVD-r. It would be stored on a hard drive in my computer and played from time to time.

Could you recommend a software, and/or a method to do this.

thanks, I tried DVD Decrypter. In fact I've been using it for a while.

The problem I have with it, is that another sofware (WinRAR) will automatically identify the ISO as a compressed archived and whenever I want to open the ISO, WinRAR will lauch and it seems that I would have to decompress in order to have access... Puzzles me...

Any idea?

Humm, It just occured to me that an ISO is a compressed format... DUH!

But I have a good excuse, I come from the mac and we don't have ISO, we have DMG, hehehe...

Anyway, I figured I'd use DVD Decrypter to extract in the files mode, select all the files... There you go...
