Okay i have a question. Well, i am trying to compress a movie onto a dvdr with my dvd shrink or decrypter. How can i do that? i have succesfully backed up a movie onto my hard drive & in trying to burn it onto a dvdr using the decrypter it says that there is not a enough space for this movie to be transferred onto a dvdr. How can i shrink the movie. iT'S LIKE 4 hours long.
thx

4 Hours? What movie are you trying to back up? You just might need DL media for that.

@lisa32 - hello again; you could use DVD Shrink but you'd have to check the results before wasting a (single layer) blank disc in case the compression is too high. or you could use a dual layer disc as per DakotaFan
Main PC ~ Intel C2Q Q6600 (G0 Stepping)/Gigabyte GA-EP45-DS3/2GB Crucial Ballistix PC2-8500/Zalman CNPS9700/Antec 900/Corsair HX 620W
Network ~ DD-WRT ~ 2node WDS-WPA2/AES ~ Buffalo WHR-G54S. 3node WPA2/AES ~ WRT54GS v6 (inc. WEP BSSID), WRT54G v2, WRT54G2 v1. *** Forum Rules ***

Right now, and you have to act fast, Best Buy has DL discs, a 15 pack for $29.99. Cheaper in some areas. $2.00 each, not bad!

Before you jump on any deal, if you have a Sam's Club, they always have great deals on discs.
