i moded my 360 with xplorer360 and all my mods work but it doesnt show the new maps on my xbox so i have to go on live and change the map to a new one and my mods work. i am still looking for why it doesnt show the maps on my screen but i can still play the maps if somebody else puts on a new map.thats all i know right now about moding the 360.

http://www.assassin4hire.com/upload/files.php?cat=1 you can get them there...you mite have to extract files on some of the ones that say open and get the ppf patch out of it but it they only say save then it will be a regular patch and the open up ppf-o-matic and click on the map you want to apply it to and your done!!!

i gotta xbox 360 and can i have a wireless net work addapter so can i still do the soft modding and all that stuff i just decided to start mdding so i have no idea what i am doing

i was modding relic and i thought the mod worked. the map loaded but it was the original map. ive been trying to get a grunt, hunter, jetpack in any map. all the patches work for me but when i mod myself the mod doesnt even happen. if anyone has patches to be a grunt, hunter, or have a jetpack, please give me a link. thanks

i put my halo 2 on my xbox then on my computer and ive been modding for a while but i dont have relic.map or mainmenu.map and some of the new maps i should have...could any1 tell me y...thanks for any help

Need help to mod halo 2. I recently unmodded my xbox but before i remod i want to know exactly what to do so here is what i got so far before when i had it modded.(i dont want to cheat on Matchmaking only play custom games.)
1. Softmodded With SID 4, Splinter Cell,Action Replay
2. FTP with FlashFXP the moddable maps to pc from xbox and made backups of them
3. Opened dothalo with gemini and made all weapons dual weildable(to test it)
4. Then i saved changes and fixed encyription
5. FTP again and rewrote over gemini with my modded one.
..
here is where i had problems.
1st time i went on xbox live somehow and it said MAP LOADING FAILURE.
So i rewrote over the modded map with the old one and that was over.
I unmodded my xbox cause i was mad and then i remodded to try again. then here is where I ALSO HAD PROBS. I modded the map exactly the same and i FTP to the game once again then shut off the xbox. i coldbooted halo 2 and when i connect it says TROUBLESHOOT XBOX LIVE i know im not banned cause i unmodded AGAIN to check so now im gonna remod can someone tell me EXACT steps to Mod Halo 2 and how to get them to the xbox and get on xbox live also.

dude really, you should not mod on xbox live, other than that just follow the tut exactly as i wrote it, cause trust me i checked and double checked after i wrote the tut, try using ppfs from www.halomaps.com go in to fourms, or www.halomods.com ;) just so you know i wrote this tut so ppl would enjoy tuning and messing around with halo 2, not playing with them on xbox live. ;)

I believe it is your encryption program. Try a program called colspot's something. I believe it to be the best. Search and try it.

Ok i used Coolspots Map Resigner Now What? and i probably wont use for xbox live but still.. i would like to know because my friend shaggyD32 wants to know how to put on xbox live so can u tell me how to conect to xbox live so he would now shush lolz

Ok, once you have the map file on your xbox, turn off your xbox. Then turn it back on BUT DO NOT GO THROUGH THE DASHBOARD. If it is set to automatically show up during boot up, change the options and turn off (dont restart on the menu). Then go to xbox live and it should work. IT IS VERY IMPORTANT NOT TO GO THROUGH THE DASH. I made the same mistake when I was starting out (it only took me 5 minutes to figure out the problem though...).

ok i did it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Yay all i had to do was turn off the softmod and then set ip to auto again and now i got mods!

you press the button called make ppf patch, then you choose the original and modded maps (maybe not in that world), and it will then make your ppf patch

im having problems getting halo 2 on my xbox. i modded my xbox with unleashx and when i put halo 2 in and go to copy game disk it says "An error occured while copying 'D'. Error Code: 112" does anyone know how i can fix that? i was able to copy splinter cell to my xbox with no problem.

I can't remember if I had that error, but maybe you don't have enough memory. Look for simple answers, they are always the ones that evade you.

i have 4.166 gb in my e drive and i dont know if thats enough to copy halo 2 but i dont think there is anything i can delete and have unleashx still work

there is always something you can delete. don't delete anything dash OS related, instead delete any music, videos, games saves you won't use any more, and other games. I download PSO on my xbox, transfered to my computer, deleted off my xbox, then did it to another game, this way I will always have the game and can switch them on and off.

Don't think you can do this without hastle, however. You will need at least an hour for it to copy one way or the other.
