I downloaded the DVD Shrink2.3. When I attempt to use it when copying a DVD movie to my computer and it begins an analysis of the movie, a message pops up that says "Unhandled Exception onIdleFile" and I am unable to continue the operation. How do I correct this problem?

No, it is DVD Shrink 2.3. A friend of mine uses it successfully on her computer in transferring DVD movies to her computer and then burning them to DVD+R disks. She made a copy of it for me. I have tried it with 2 different movies, one an old PG rated movie and the other one was "Sin City". Both times, the same message would pop up regarding an "unhandled exception onidlefile"

That is an old version of the program, you need to update it to have it work correctly. Just go to http://www.filepedia.com and get the newer version. The current version has not been updated in over a year and a half, so the one you have has got to be over two years old.

Also you may want to dl the free programs DVD Decrypter and DVD Fab Decrypter because Shrink cannot rip some of the newer protected movies. Here are some guides on those programs
