Iam new to the DVD copying. The programs i have are
Alcohol 120%
Ashampoo Movie Shrink & Burn 2
DVD Decrypter
DVD Shrink 3.2
InterVideo DVDCopy 2
VSO DivxToDVD
NERO 6 Ultra
------------------------------
I used DVD Shrink 3.2 on Spiderman 2 and i got all the files copied to my computer. But the main movie files have no AUDIO. Is this OK? When i burn them with Nero will they have the audio on the DVD?

Welcome to the forum. When you processed the files to HD using DVD Shrink you did at least keep one of the audio's. Find the 1st .vob file on the HD . Right click it and tell the file to play. If you hear sound the audio is there. If no sound then re-rip the file to hd using DVDDecrypter or DVDFAB Decrypter first and then use Shrink to compress and make sure that the audio is kept.

To answer your original question some of the older DVD Players needed to see a Video_TS file and also a Audio_ts file before it would play the movie. But over the years the newer DVD players do not need that format anymore so that is probably why the audio file is missinf in the structure of the DVD. The audio should be in the Video_TS file although as it is in the .vob stream

The only files that have audio is the Previews and extras. The 3 main Movie files have no audio when i play them

Suggest that you re-rip the DVD to HD and this time make sure that you have 5.1 audio checked to keep the audio. That will also play on a system that only does 2 Ch. audio. Play the movie in the little screen ( preview ) on the left to make sure the audio is there.

It will not work. I can use Dvd Srink or Dvd Dyrcypter but The Main Movie files have no audio. I don't know why it does that. it did not before.

IF You are new forget DVD Decrypter or Smart Ripper have your self a 6 or upper version of Roxio, and Install DVDRegion Free, and once you have these 2 software Use ROXIO DISC COPIER and you will live in peace, it will automatically Transcode even a 10GB dvd into 4.7 GB, skipping all copy right errors.
Further more it also gives you an Option if you click the option button on the Disc Copier window to skip Menues and Extras and just copy the actual movie, so that your DVD movies will be as good as possible.
Hope I am not doing any thing illegal here coz I am posting some already posted links that i got by using search engines:

How about doing us all a favor and quit posting the same thing over and over again on the forum . If Roxio was so good we all here and at the other forums would be using it.
What you posted has nothing to do w/ the audio.

Ok Lets try it this way.
1. Rip the movie again to HD
2. Bring up shrink
3. Now I want you to look on the right hand side and you will see re-author. Click the re-author tab
4. On the right you will see Title 1
5. Slide Title 1 to the left hand side
6. When it is on the left hand side you will see on the right hand side Compression tab. Click on it
7. Under Audio you will see DTS, 5.1 and probably 2ch . They will have check marks nest to them.
8. Uncheck all but 5.1
9. Make sure 5.1 has a check mark there and now click Backup
Before you click Backup you can check to see if the sound is there by doing this.
Highlight the Title 1 movie that is on the left hand side. Below that on the left hand side is a Black Box. Click on the sideways triangle and you can listen to the movie. If you hear the movie then click backup and now the movie will be backed up

No matter wat i do there is not audio. When i preview it has sound but when i rip it there is none.
Also why do i have to Rip from Dvd Dycypter then Use DVD Shrink?? Why can't i just use DVD Shrink only and rip the DVD with that?.

What speed are you burning at. When I burned a couple at max I did not get any audio as well. Slowed down to 4x and all is well.
