my friend got eurotrip on a 700 mb disk but when i want to burn something it goes over 4gb? is everyone else copying there movies to a regular cd-r disk or is everyone using the dvd disks?

let me get this right my friends,friend put eurotrip into a 700mb disk.but he downloaded it from online so how do i make a backup copy of my dvd in a regular cd-r disk?
