Hi. I'm sorry if this q has been answered, but I've searched these excellent forums and cannot find what I need.
I have a black Slim PSTwo that I'd like to mod to play burned back-ups. Any advice on Slim Tool with Swap Magic 3 versus Flip Top Cover V12 + Swap Magic 3.6? Will these mods work for playing burned back ups? Will my warranty be voided?
Also, my PC has a DVD+R burner. Do PS2 games need to be burned on DVD-Rs, or are DVD+Rs workable?

you need to buy a flip top case for your pstwo, when you install this u will need to void the warranty, and you can use DVD+R they work perfectly for me.

i thought that the flip top was for the fat ps2 he said he has the slim

After looking around at some websites mentioned here, I found that there is a flip top cover for the slim that can be ordered along with Swap Magic 3.6. Unless someone here advises against it, that's the way I'm planning to go. . .
