Hello everyone,
I have just purshased ps2 and i'm trying to figure out the whole procees to burn a game and get it to play on the ps2.
I am somewhat familiar with the burning process but not an expert yet :). i don't have a modship i don't know how to get it nor how to put it on and i don't know if it is really necessary.
if anyone could clarify the whole thing for me i would be gratefull.

Well for one...YOU WILL need a mod chip or a fliptop. For the fliptop you need, action replay/swap magic and a slide card.

As for the actual copying. Open DVD Decrypter and ISO Read and then ISO Write at 2x to good quality disks. This works for most but some games need to be "rebuilt", you can search aD for these games.

hey thanks for answering,
Where do i get the mod chip? and how do i put it in ?
What's a fliptop. i have to say that i am completely lost here.
Some more help would be appreciated.

A fliptop is a new case for your PS2 that opens like the old ps1 do, from the top. You can purchase them on ebay. Sorry i mis spoke on my other post, you do NOT need a slide card if you have a fliptop.

As for modchip, i dont have one, so i dont know a reputable dealer.

hi,
just to give a little bit of background. i have a ps2 slim. t's a tiny one man.
is there any way i can play a backed game without having to insert a boot disk but maybe use a memory car that has the code within ?
If i do get fliptop, first, how do i know which one ot get in the first place andhow to use it ?
man, i know you don't have to do this but i really appreciate you helping me.
