I am trying to burn Desperate Housewives Season 1 DVDs. I use 1Click Dvd Copy & CopyToDvd along with DVD For Free. I tried burning the first disc which has 4 episodes and it only recorded the last episode on the disc. I've burned several DVDs with no problems. Any ideas about this one?

Is it possible you selected movie only? If you had selected movie only, the longest episode would only be copied because it would be considered the movie and the other episodes would be the extras. The entire disc would need to be copied for an episode disc.

No, the movie only option is disabled. I thought maybe the problem had something to do with a copyright or something new that I didn't know about. It didn't make sense to me that only one episode was copied.

Alot of one click programs e.g. 1click, Xcopy etc. have problems with episodic disks. They do not burn all the episodes. You would be better to try the free program DVDShrink and then use CopyToDVD to burn the iso image it puts out. That is one thing about Shrink it will incorporate CopyToDVD as a burn option.

i copied DH just last week and i did it with 1clickdvd. make sure you select extras and episodes and things will go ok. 1click did a great job on this series.

Thank you all so much for your help! I'll try it again. Ppower, you were right after all. I checked & I WAS copying the movie only.. the "include extras" option was still disabled.

Eliz, is there an option for episodes? I don't see it.

I've only copied movies in the past so I thought I could just pop the dvd in & it would work.

hi cathyme. yes just go into options and check "extras or episodes. as i said 1click was what use to do DH and it did a great job. good luck.

It worked!!! I updated to the newest version of 1click and it worked great.

Use DVD Decrypter as this program works great for Boxed Sets.
