I get how to use DVD Decrypter for game back ups but what about using Nero? What are the steps for using Nero? And is the simple dvd decrypter process only for 4.7gb sized ps2 games or less? And if I were to do a one touch disc copy with a ps2 game with dvddecrypter that was or less than 4.7gb but carried dummy files would my back up still work the same as the original? And is rebuilding ps2 games only for games that sizes are larger than 4.7gb ? Whats the fastest speed a game could be burnt and still remain completely playable? And if I wanted to also burn the DNAS onto the discs would I need to do more steps? WHat are the programs that enable me to burn the DNAS to disc? And and extra question, I heard of Disc ID Utility, since I don't have it I'll just ask if it's easy to use? I think that covers it... Thank you.

Next time divide up your questions a little. Yes you can burn games with Nero. Decrypter is generally easier and it's free that's why most people use it. http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/15105 If you burned the 4.7GB game to a DL DVD-R, you'd be okay, however if you burned it to a single layer DVD-R it wouldn't work. Games around 4.3GB's and over generally need rebuilt, here's a guide: http://home.earthlink.net/~moderator/id4.html#rebuilding Most games burn better at 1x, 2x, or 4x. In some rare instances 8x is necessary for heavy FMV games. To patch ID's you need a program called Windip and the original DNA of the game in question. There are two huge lists of DNA ID's in the forums one for PAL and one for NTSC, search for DNA, you can't miss em. Here's a tutorial: http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/80568 Search for windip and you'll find it. You can use Windip or Winimage to patch the DNA ID's. Here's an alternate tutorial: http://www.ps2nfo.com/on-line.html If you want to obtain the disc utility ID check here: http://www.ps2nfo.com/forums/showthread.php?t=89 The previous link covers how to use it. This stuff is covered in the forums, so search some next time. Fortunately for you I'm up all night and have nothing better to do lol.

Thanks but last though , how do I go about backing up ps2 games with Nero? And which program out of Nero and Decrypter is better for backing up ps2 games that are less then 4.3gb games?

Oh and could a ps2 game thats 4.3gb's or less that has dummy files be backed up without being rebuilt? Or do all sized ps2 games with dummy files need rebuilding to be played as well as the original because of the dummy files?

DVD Decrypter is easier to use than Nero, but they both work. Not all games over 4.3GB's need rebuilt it's just a good cutoff point. Most games under that don't need rebuilt. Only about 5% of games need rebuilt in general. Here's a guide for DVD Decrypter: http://home.earthlink.net/~moderator/id3.html
