Help, I need help burning the Muppet Show Season 1 Disc 1. I have come here before and enquired. Has there been anybody who has successfully burned the Muppet Show Disc 1. If so I would really appreciate the help.

What seems to be the problem that you are having?
What burn proggy are you using?
What are the symptons of the problems?

We need a lot more info than you are providing.

Check out the guides section to see how to. Lots of information at this sight.

I am unable to burn the whole dvd on to a DVD+R. I am using Shrink in conjunction with Nero. When I try to burn the dvd is just a few mb over. The exact size after it is shirked is 4,531 MB. is there a way to burn it.

Have you removed unneeded titles and audio? Only copying the main movie title? What is your compression ratio? You should be able to increase your compression if I am reading the forums correctly.

Anybody else have ideas - I'm still fairly new at all this.

The Compression rate is 57.5%. I do not want really erase the captions because I need them and the captions are english. When it comes to audio I can only erase one audio and it only takes the total down 6 mb. I repeat I am trying to preserve most of the original dvd.

Did you set your target size in preferences? Try setting to 4334 and using deep analysis and quality enhancement of smooth.

That did not help. By setting the target size to 4334, I am close to 200 megs too big. And what do you mean by quality enhancement of smooth.

By using deep analysis and AEC quality enhancements you will improve your video quality. Deep analysis will analyze each individual scene of the DVD for overall quality, it will aid in not having pixellation in a highly compressed backup. Smooth and Max Smooth AEC also aids in this area especially when you are getting down towards 50%, you find this selection when you hit your backup button. Try it with deep analysis setting and see if it will let you reach your target size, this setting will analyze the backup and help it better reach the right size. If not then you will have to run it through Shrink twice to get it down to the size you want.
