Hi,
I have recently tried to help a friend set up their new computer to be able to back up movies.
She used afterdawn to download shrink, I helped her configure the preferneces but when the disc begins to encode a error comes up reading...
Dvdshrink encountered error and cannot continue copy protection error.
Incorrect function. The request could not be performed because of a I/O device error.
Any thoughts would be appreciated. Thanks

Rip the movie first to HD using eithe DVDFAB Decrypter or DVDDecrypter

ok thank you for your quick response.
I have done some reading since the post and what corrected the problem was unchecking the burn with Nero option.
