ok i have a hard drive for my ps2 and took it out and put it in my computer to use the hdl dump program, which worked fine, i then set the jumper back to the master setting and hooked it back up to my ps2 however now i am getting the hardware error hard drive not connected to the ps2, i have an extra blank hard drive that i tried to hook up as well and i got the same error, do you think it could be a problem with my network adapter? it worked fine just before i removed the hard drive.

please help!

not sure if this'll fix but, try setting the hdd to cable select.
