Hey Guys,
I'm new here, but im having a bit of a problem and i cant find anyone that has an answer.
I've been using DVDShrink for ages, but now i cannot rip a dvd. Just for example, i'm trying to burn Pay it Forward, it opens the disk up, then when i go to analyse it, it freezes the pc and i have to restart. This isnt the only dvd it's done it to either. It's freezing at random points, sometimes while opening the dvd up, sometimes while deep analysing, sometimes while encoding, and sometimes when it's burning. I've just taken 2gig off on my hard drive, but it's still doing it! I've uninstalled and reinstalled aswell, to no avail!
I can use DVD Decryptor for ones under 4G, which works fine, and use nero for burning cds, but i'm stuck with what to do with shrink!
Please Help!!

Sounds like your PC is over heating. Take the side off the case, then try to rip again with DVD Shrink.

My athlon system was freezing up all the time and I took the side off and was amazed at the dust build up on the processer cooling fan. It had to be a quarter inch thick. You could barely see between the fins. I took it outside and used the air compressor to blow it clean. No freeze ups since. Now I wasn't even burning on this one, just normal work and internet.

My P4 system burned the MB up cause of heat.

No Luck!!
Took the side of the case off and still cracking it. My friend thought it might be something to do with the registry? also would NVIDIA have anything to do with it, because when i reload my pc it's saying something about that....
