hi there.
Im sure this question has been raised b4 but unfortunately i have not found a response that gave a solution.
Im new at converting avi files to dvd and downloaded avi2dvd as it was recommended in the forums.

I have avi files of anime episodes that i wanted to put on a DVD disc and although avi2dvd is relatively easy to use (and follow via the guide) im coming up with the following problems.

1.when i open all the avi files it seems to only recognise the lastest one i opened. i thought it automatically combines it. the names are anime01.avi, anime02.avi, etc...
2. i get the error msg due to the output path i select - "2 jobs have the same output path. Please change the output path of the 2nd job".
3. no iso image is in the folder. bunch of other files - audiostream 1 mp3 2ch.ac3, avi2dvd.log, avisynth_script_file, besweet, besweet.txt

other than that it works fine.
can anyone help and/or give a step-by-step solution. thanks heaps!

Or you can just try VSO DivXtoDVD (free version):

http://www.afterdawn.com/software/video_software/video_encoders/v...

You can convert more than one avis at one time (just keep adding before hitting 'convert').

Happy dvd editing!

thanks scf_au.
i downloaded VSO and it converted all the AVI files. although there is no audio_ts folder (is there meant to be one??)

i have yet to burn them on DVD disc but fingers crossed. if all else fails i'll just buy a DVD player that has mpeg4 playback.

You normally don't need an audio_ts folder for burning to dvd. If you can play the movie after the conversion, then there shouldn't be any problem with the final burning. But do let us know how it goes.

Happy DVD burning!
