Hi.. please excuse my english but I'm italian.. I'll try to explain my problem..

I always copy my dvd's movies using, DVD SHRINK, DVD Decripter, Any DVD, Clone dvd2, depending on the protection of the dvd.
Now I have 2 new movies: LE CROCIATE (Cruisades, with O. Bloom) and KungFushion (Kung Fu Hustle). I had try to copy them using the metod that I always had used in the past, using any dvd with clone dvd2. But Clone dvd doesn't work. So I had tryed with dvd shrink first and then with dvd decripter but a message of error appears during the ripping.
The error message using dvd shrink is:
DVD SHRINK encountered an error and cannot continue.
Failed to read file "D.\"
Errore nei dati (controllo di ridondanza ciclico.

Using DVD decripter the error message is:
I/O Error!
Device: [1:1:0] HL-DT-ST DVD-ROM GDR8163B 0L23 (D:) (ATA)
ScsiStatus: 0x02
Interpretation: Check Condition
CDB: 28 00 00 05 2D 90 00 00 01 00
Interpretation: Read (10) - Sector: 339344

Interpretation: Unrecovered Read Error

What they means these errors? How can I copy my movies??
Thanks to all Who help me...

Well you have a pretty nice arsenal there. Have you tried updating your AnyDVD? You could also try using DVDFab Decrypter which seem's to work well on problem disks. If you need a copy of it check out the link in my signature "Software" also you could give the very first guide at my website a try it uses DVDFab Decrypter/DVD Shrink/ and DVD Decrypter to backup a movie. That method has been the most productive for most people when they are having issues.

Cheers and good luck

I don't know about the Orlando Bloom movie, it is called Kingdom of Heaven here in Region 1, because that movie had not special protection here and ripped easily with Decrypter. I am not sure if they did anything special for your Region, but I would try cleaning that one. As for Kung Fu Hustle, others have had problems with this one, and Decypter may not be able to handle it. You stated you used AnyDVD in the past, well make sure you have the latest version and try that. You can also dl the latest version of the free ripper DVD Fab Decrypter this may get through the movies. Available at http://www.filepedia.com under rippers. Just rip and then use Shrink as usual.

WOW!! What a prompt reply!! Thanks..

So, I've downloaded Fabdecripter yet. now I'll install and try.. but, does it work as any dvd or as dvd decripter or similar?? I'll able to rip the dvd only using this program or I have to use this program and then another as soon as DVD Shrink for example??

THANKS!!!!!!!!

You will have to use DVD Shrink afterwards if you need to compress, which you will with these movies. DVD Fab is a ripper and that is all it does, just rips. Use bbmayo's guide to help you

Does this make sense?

Why aren't the quotes working properly? Or the bolding. Crap.

If you run it through Shrink and it does not need compression it will not get compressed.

Edit try your slash the other way :)
