Hello.i tried burning ps2 games with dvd decryptor.when i load them up on the ps2 after using the swap magic 3.2 disc i get the blue border but wont go further.. i think i burned it at max speed.would slower be better? i used pinnacle to burn but that stopped working. so its my first time using decryptor.
also when i burn a copy of game i get 2 files. i burned the two to try but i still get blue border. i have various threads on the site but havnt got prob sorted. im calling on all the experts now....
Thanks again

so my dear friend.
let me give you some basics. when using DVD Decrypter use the iso read option (mode--> iso--> read) to make an iso image of the game into your hard drive. the two files that you say you received should have the extensions .iso and .mds. Anyway try to backup a game, tell me which one and the exact names of the files that you get after the process is complete.before you do anything go to the windows explorer (right click START--> explore)
and tell it to show you all the files (tools--> folder options--> view--> hidden files and folders: click the "show hidden files and folders" button) and to show all the files' extensions (while being in the explorer's folder options--> view: uncheck the "hide extensions for known file types" box just under the "show hidden files and folders" . if it's unchecked then leave it be. once you have the two files do the following: decrypter--> mode--> iso--> write--> sourse: click the folder icon, the one with the "please select a file" message
at it's left side--> go find the two game files and double click the one with the .mds at the end of it's name(this is the so called extension: the 3 letters after the dot)--> click the big button with the hard drive and the arrow pointing at a disc or click file--> write. this should take care of things, burn by sellecting max speed( in the decrypter window at the lower right corner it says setting and just below that choose max from the dropdown menu or any speed you like from 4x and above) it looks to me that the mistake you did was burning the 2 files (.mds and .iso) finally, boot and tell me the results by replying to this message. sorry for giving so much details but i 'd like to help as much as i can. hope i did. try and tell me and if you got any other questions just come at one of my threads and ask regardless of it's current subject( just do a search for "geo7dlx")

Hmm, you should burn at 1-2x post your results onto high quality media. Eg, Verbatim, Ritek, TDK, Maxell, Taiyo Yuden.
