HD Advance Loading Error

I have an HD Advance for my ps2 and i put about 6 games on it. They have worked fine ever since i got it, then i keep trying to load the disk, but it just keeps going back to the screen where it says reading disk and shows my memorycard/harddrive. Then it reads disk for awhile and the disk shows up. I click on the disk, and the playstation 2 logo comes up, and right before it goes the the splash screen, it goes right back to the screen with the memorycard/harddrive. I have tried cleaning the disk many times and also used a gamedoctor 2 times, but it see the disk and reads it fine. It just doesnt go to the splash screen. Any suggestions?

Thanks for the help, but everything is set up correct because i have used it many times before and it also does the same thing on my brothers ps2. It seems to me like it is some kind of a loading error where the ps2 cant read the disk or for some reason skips back and starts from the beginning again.

Well the simplest explanation is a defective disc. Does your PS2 load originals?

yeah my ps2 will load originals , but my swap magic and hd advance both dont load.

Yeah kinda strange they both don't work. Well you could burn the games to disc and run them with Swap Magic for the time being. At least you could play them until you figure out what's wrong. What version of HD advance are you using?

Sorry this must've been overlooked in my emails, usually I respond to everything the same day. Are your Swap Magic or HD Advance discs scratched or dirty? You could try cleaning the Laser with a Q tip and rubbing alcohol.

they are a little bit dirty, but i used my gamedoctor to clean them, so i dont think that is the problem. Ill try cleaning my laser after i get some rubbing alcohol.

A. Avoid the lens cleaners. They have the potential to scratch the lens making matters worse. The best strategy is to open your PS2 and clean the lens with a Q tip and rubbing Alcohol.
