I hope this is the right forum. Is there a software I can use that is as good as AnyDVD. The reason I'm asking this that is I've been using AnyDVD for a trial and now want to buy it. However my purchase was declined when I tried to use my visa card. I'm waiting for AnyDVD to reply to my email. I checked with my credit card company and they did not decline the transaction but said that the software seller may not accept credit card orders if the purchaser lives in the Philippines even though my credit card is okay (I'm British and my credit card is British. I just happen to live in the Philippines). I like AnyDVD but if the company won't let me buy it then I need an alternative. I would really appreciate recommendations.

I like AnyDVD which is why I want it. Maybe I'll get a pleasant surprise when the company replies to my email. I think there has been a lot of credit card theft here so some companies don't accept anything from the Philippines. I buy lots of stuff from Amazon.com using the same card without any problems.
Is DVD43 a program that runs in the background like AnyDVD?

DVD43 is like AnyDVD, but it is not updated to handle the latest encryptions. DVD43 also gives conflicts sometimes. I used to use DVD43 all the time, but went ahead and bought AnyDVD, and now i have un-installed DVD43. I like the Smiley face in DVD43 better than the Fox in AnyDVD, but that is just me. You can still rip latest encryptions if you use DVD Fab Decrypter to extract to HD. Good Luck with AnyDVD. It is a great program.

In case I have no choice but to download DVD43 (if I can't get AnyDVD permanently) can I use DVD Decrypter and DVD Shrink to copy and burn a DVD as I did with AnyDVD?
