i have backed up manny movies with shrink movie only and most 90 min films do not need any compressiion. But i've noticed when backing up particular films like constatine and napolien dynamite, the best quaility i can get is about 80% with movie only and only the 5.1 sound?? the backup is good quality, but just wondered why they wont go to 100%??

Napoleon Dynamite was a Disc 5 single layer DVD. There was no need to compress it.

It is not the time it is the bytes. Most animations are shorter in time by larger in bytes,because of the different layering techniques used in the animations

oh right, yea i noticed the bytes were quite high, there not cartoons though theyre films. thanks for the replies
