i have memorex dvd-r and dvd+rs and i was wonderng if i was to make a backup are the dvds good enough to work, which one i shud use a dvd+r or a dvd-r and if i shud use dvd decypter also what speed to burn it at sorry bout all the questions but someone please try to answer the ones you can

first off get rid of the Memorex, they are jus not
quality media
Philips,TDK, Verbatim Datalife, Taiyo Yuden, Ritek
I like 8X DVD-R
I have used Philips for many back ups and they work great for me
