I got some Maxell DVD's at walmart for a cheaper price than the Sony's that i use to get. I'm new this DVD manufacture thing, but I used DVD Decrypter and said that the Maxells were made by RitekG05. Are those DVD's any good? I burned one already and seem like it's doing fine. Or is it that maybe sometimes is not the DVD but the burner? I just use the burned that came with the computer, which I think the burner is a Pioneer. Works good.

So are the RitekG05's good and I dont need to worry about them?

Those RitekG05 are fine media especially if they work in your setup. The Sony +R media that are made in Japan are probably a little better. Best Buy has them on sale every 2 or 3 weeks. Pioneer burners seem to like the Ritek media at least in my case.

you are just fine with those RitekG05s, i have burned many of them on VARIOUS drives/burners, including the Pioneer that i have (dvr-109)...these are the MADE IN TAIWAN 8x DVD-R flavor, so far so good with me and MY riteks~ :) you should be ok as well, good luck~
