Please help I have been burning dvd's for over six months now and I use the dvd shrink and dvd decrypter method...it worked great!! But now when I go to burn the image on the disk using DVDD it tells me there is no medium present. It will read the original dvd's and cd's but when it comes to writing the image on to the blak disc it says "medium not present." I am using Sony DVD-R's which I have been for all my DVD's. I updated my firmware. I reviewed my ASPI device everything seems to alright. Please help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Can you be a bit more specific here?

Do I understand it correctly that when you insert a blanc DVD-R in your burner, your burner it does not see the disc?

What software do you use to burn?

You rip with DVD Decrypter, and shrink it with DVD Shrink: what versions?

How do I find out the versions of the programs that I have. My burner can read any disc that already has data but when I insert a blank disc, decrypter does not highlight the harddrive to disc button because it says "no meduim present," I just bought a pack of new Sony DVD-R's thinking that maybe, just maybe I got a bunk pack before but it still gives me the same message.

Thanks

Versions is usually e question of using the Help --> About button..

Let me get this straight: you put a blank DVD in the drive and then DVDdecrypter says: no medium?

You also burn with DVD Decrypter? Why not use Nero or some other tool?

Install other burning software and see what happens.
