So I am new to this whole DVD burning thing, and i downloaded dvd shrink and decrypter. my first question is, when i try running Dvd Shrink V 3.2 start to do the backup to my harddrive, i get a message that says DVD SHRINK encountered an error and cannot continue. Programming error-exception occured. Then it closes dvd shrink. My second question is there a dummies guide somewhere that can help me understand how to burn this?

What movie are your burning, there are some movies that DVD Shrink cannot handle the protection on, you either need DVD Decrypter or DVD Fab Decrypter to rip them to your HDD first. Or you need to run a program like AnyDVD or DVD43 in the background with Shrink that will break the encryption Shrink cannot. Here are some guides for using these programs.

Thank you ARnie Bear i will try that and i tried, a few movies. The Wedding Date, Amnnityville horror, hitch, spiderman. etc..

Well I know that Shrink on its own will not do Hitch. However, it should do Spiderman with not problem. What are your computer specs, there maybe another problem.
