I'm about to do a DVD with DVD-Lab. But I have a bunch of AVI files that I like 2 put in to 2 DVD disc's, put the problem is that when I'm converting the AVI files into MPEG2, thats part is fine put what I don't understand is why it comes out as a shitty as quality.

The AVI files is about 350mb a piece, and then i figured that the mpeg2 file could be almost the same sice, but sadly I was wrong.

How come the MPEG2 file must me much bigger, and not even then in good quality. Isn't there anyway to get MPEG2 file in smaller size, about 350-400 mb and still be as good quality as the AVI file.

I don't know anything about the different formats only that I prefer AVI bc of it's better quality at small sizes. Or can I hack DVD-Lab Pro in anyway that it accepts AVI. And my DVD player plays AVI files.

Plz, give me an solution before I commit suicide.
