ANyone else having troubles with this game? I used DVD Decrypter and burned with DVD Decrypter onto TDK DVD-R (which my PS2 seems to favor) at the slowest speed possible. I have a PSTwo Slimline with Swap Magic 3.3 discs. When I run it under normal boot I get a black screen for 45-60 seconds and then it goes to the memory card screen and then to the red "Please insert PS2 disc". When I special boot it the screen just stays black. Any ideas?

What size is the file once you have ripped it to your hard drive? Sounds like it may need to be rebuilt(i just burned Jak 3 and it needs to be rebuilt) Also some high TOC games(large sized games) need to be burnt at faster speeds to work correctly. I burn all of my discs at 6x(lowest possible speed on my verbatim 16x DVD-R s) I used to burn my discs at really low speeds via a firmware hack but it 95% of the time ended with bad results.

I backed this up with a straight up ISO read / write with Decrypter. Fujifilm disc and have had no problems thus far. Played for about 2 hours today. Good luck

I would try to rebuild it. Jak 3 was about the same size and actually didnt get much smaller after rebuilding it but it burnt fine. First time i just did a straight read/write and it gave me an error at like 18% through.
