When I enable Noise Reduction on TMPGEnc Plus, it takes extremely long to encode the movie. I want to encode a 1:14 movie clip and it takes about 16-17 minutes to encode a very short clip. When I don't check the Noise Reduction, it encodes in a reasonable amount of time. Maybe 2-4 minutes without it. Without Noise Reduction, it still looks fine, but will it be significantly better if I checked the Noise Reduction? or is it not worth wasting that much time?

I never use it. After all, often the sound a poor MP2 224 kbps CBR (and 128 CBR is, often, enough).
Or comes, the movie, from an opera show?
