i have just tried backing up everybodys golf and it will not even load. i used isobuster and then nero to burn it, i assume i had to burn the mds file as it was the only one that would fit to disk. i am using verbatim disks and i burnt at 1x and i cannot get any backups to work. the only ones that do are the ones i did on alcohol about a year ago when i first got my dvd burner! i need help as i have no idea what i am doing wrong. i am using swap magic with the slide tool

there he is

Try this....

DVD Decriptor - Mode>ISO>Read

this will write an ISO image to your HD, then...

DVD Decriptor - Mode>ISO>Write

this burns to the DVD...

hope this helps.

I agree with the above as well. What media are you using? Some games will work on not so good media, but others won't. Might be why the ones before worked and now they don't.

I've used verbatim, maxell, and sony with great results. The only one that didn't work was fujifilm for some strange reason. Oh and I've only used DVD+R so u may wanna check because I think older ps2's need DVD-R.

So i've heard. But of about 200 sony dvd's (at 46 cents/piece) I have lost about 6-8. I'll stay with my Sony :-)

I agree. I've used sony exclusively now. Although it's not offical for compatability they are made by the same company as the ps2!

Funny thing is, Sony will not work with my PS2! Go figure. Taiyo Yudens are the best in my opinion. And the prices you can get them at makes it kind of pointless to buy some others, but I'm just a TY guy so I am biased.
