patching dowloaded ps2 games for online play

hey is there a way to patch PS2 games that you download so that u can play them online i already kno how to back up original PS2 games but i cant figure out how i would get the disc id for a downloaded game

Lets sayyou dled blitz the league.

Blitz: The League (SLUS_211.28)
(Size = 6,182,144 bytes)
Disc ID = XX XX 04 30 9C

when you use the image patcher program
uses what ever the last 3 sets of the game is and for the 1st two make up any combination using letter a-f and/or 0-9

so for this game you could use 0e a3 04 30 9C
It doesnt matter what the 1st two sets are as long as you use those select letters or #s
The last 3 will work for any version of that game

Not sure but the chances of someone picking the same 1st 2 sets and being online at the same time has to be very small. Plus there sometimes is several differnt combosof the lets 3 sets for the same game. I noticed this with Madden 2006
