I got a folder with an audio_ts folder and a vide_ts folder. How would I burn it onto the DVD so that it plays on my dvd player?

If the movie plays o.k., you can burn to dvd with any burning program that works with video_ts folders (e.g. Nero Recode):

Run Nero Recode, click 'copy entire dvd to dvd', then 'import dvd', then go choose the video_ts folder of the movie, and follow from there.
