If you cannot burn any DVD's at all then the DVD burning side of your writer is faulty. Time to get yourself a new Dual Layer DVD writer, they cost about £40.00 Bargain!

Also I believe the DVD media makes a differnece correct? Don't you need -R media to burn data?

Welcome to the forum. You can use (+) or (-) dvds to put data on. It really depends on you burner
