Ok i have an AMD 2400 with radeon 9700 pro hooked up via svideo to my 49in widescreen highdef tv what i want to do is be able to play my dvd's straight from the hard drive to my tv with no quality loss so it will look the same as if i was playing it with my dvde player. i know this is vary space consuming i have already dealt with that i fuigured that ripping it to mpeg-2 format would have done the trick but for some reason the quality is not that good

i think the problem is the resalution of kmy computer when its hooked up to the tv is 800*600 how do i remidy this from what i hear a tv res is usually about 300 percent smaller any suggestions please thank you in advance
