first dvico "tp" file 18.6 GB--wtf?

Hi there, I recently bought a dvico DVB-T USB hdtv card(box really) and thought I would try the record live tv out so clicked it on at the start of a 90 minute show and ended up with an 18.6 GB TP file. I don't know if I buggered up the settings or anything but can anybody tell me why it would be so huge and if I wanted to convert it to dvd how could I fit 18.6 GB on 4.3 of dvd? I think even shrink would baulk at that. If there are any guides or links you could direct me to it would be much appreciated the dvico site is pretty much useless only samsung has a worse site for being completely and utterly of no help AFTER you have bought one of there products. I have Nero 6.6 and Ulead video studio 8 installed as well as most relevant freeware but dont know wher to start with this one. Thanks guys and girls. Mozza ok
