Can someone tell me what the difference between their regular media and their Data Life Plus media is.Is it worth the difference for a backup copy?

The DataLifePlus has the metal azo dye which is a superior dye and considered to be top notch. To me yes it's worth the differnce though you should get along fine w/ the regular Verbatim's. Verbatim is known to use quality manufacturers.

Both Verbatim types use the metal azo dye .. If they're MCC coded, it has metal azo dye

Generally, the DataLifePlus are less expensive than the regular Verbatim discs, however, they are coded EXACTLY the same and made in exactly the same place on the same line .. Yhe only difference as far as information that I;ve gathered over the last year or so is that they are printed differently

The Data Life Plus has better dye, such as the Advanced AZO dye. With that being said, it's better, stronger, meaner, higher quality, last longer, etc. Below is just an example, so no offense to CMC MAG users alright.

Verbatim with Advanced AZO dye.

Thanks guys - now I know - looks like verbs and tys are it for me. I have used regular verbs but never the datalife. When ordering I usually look for the best buy between the two brands. Am going to try some inkjet printables next month.
