Copying PS2 games - quick question

See if I have this correct. I am trying to be able to copy PS2 games and want to verify the info I have read is correct. If I get a flip top for the correct model of PS2 and Swap Magic, I will be able to play games without any modchip or internal work needed on the PS2? All I would have to do is attach the flip top on the PS2 and use the Swap magic disc, correct? Am I missing any step? I just wanted to know before I invest. I have DVD Decryptor know my way around that. Thanks

Yep, you are correct. You won't need to mess with the inside of the PS2 at all with Swap Magic. With the flip top replacement you may have to remove the cover though to replace it. I'm not sure on that though. I still use the fatty PS2 haha.

I have a version 1 and a flip top and I use magic swap 3.6 and it works perfect. Just when you copy games use the best media like Verbatim or Tayio Yuden. The little bit extra in price is defently worth it as ps2 backups dont work good on alot of blank media.

p.s be careful if your going 2 fit the flip lid on your ps2 on your own if you,ve never done so before, as it can be tricky.
