newb here im not sure what i need to copy ps2 games? i dont want to use a mod chip or anything that envolves opening up my ps2..... so what kind of DVD do i need? DVD-R or DVD+R? what programs do i need to use?.....what do i need to use the disk in my ps2....?

THANKS that answers most of my questions but i heard that instead of using a mod chip and swaping disk that you can get a hard drive for you PS2?? and it will do it for you with out having to have that other stuff....if this is true wich one do i need and how much are they?

you can use a hd, but not all games are compatible and you cant play online off the hd. The program is called hd advance. I would get swap magic and a slide card or fliptop and just download hd advance, then you can do whatever you want.
