How do I make a 2nd. copy without having to run through the whole process when opening the saved files from the original copy saved on the hard drive? Is there some way to do this? Even though it is much faster than encoding from the DVD, it's still a pain.

If its already a copy of a copy u are trying to make. Then there would b no coding on iy and it would as easy as going through either DVD Decrypter in ISO mode or with CloneDVD 2 as a straight burn.

Are you talking about burning a 2nd copy of the DVD after the initial burn?

I make sure that I untick the "erase files after burning" in decrypter, and then just insert a fresh disc and hit the burn button. In 14.42mins on average I have another copy. Same with CloneDVD.

Using the ISO mode in decrypter takes about as long as doing it with DVD Shrink. I just burned Pinochio 3000 from the saved files and it took 11 min 22 sec using DVD Shrink. The one burned from the original took 14 mins 37 sec! I'm used to using DVD Shrink and since the times are about the same or less, I guess i'll keep burning them this way. Thanks to all for their input.

You can't burn with DVD Shrink, it doesn't have a burn engine. Open DVD Decrypter go to Mode/ISO/Write and select the title you want to reburn and voila.

When you have Nero 6 installed or DVD X-Copy installed it will automatically burn using either the Nero or Gearworks engine. I use a DVD-Rom to read and a burner to write. I put the movie in the DVD Rom and blank media in the burner. Once started it's all automatic.

If you burn from the saved files using DVD Decrypter, this process will take you half as long, as you will not have an encoding step with DVD Shrink.

If you want a second copy then use Nero to manually burn and specify two copies. Just open the files placed on your HDD by Shrink with Nero and put in the number of copies you want.

if you want to copy a copy just use ashampoo works great depending on the speed of your system . i have a p4 1.7 512 ddr ram take about 8 min.
