If there is a thread about this game or how to correctly burn it may you be so kind as to point me in that direction.

I searched and there was none so I posted this one.

Now then I burned it last night like this.

DVD Decrypter to Read and then Nero (UDF/ISO) mode and wrote it at 2x speed and I used this same method on MGS3 and got that game first shot.

Although when I try and boot this one up it says something about "Not A Valid PS2 Disc".

EDIT: I meant NCAA 2006.

Can you guys tell me what's up?

I got this game first run. I never use Nero though. Try DVD Decriptor to write as well, worked for me.

I don't understand why everyone is using DVD Decryptor to read then use something else to write. DVD Decryptor burns as well if not better than any of the other programs and will do many different types of files as well.

As far as the game goes, I think you may be using bad media. I tried burning this game to Verbatims and to a Sony disc and they wouldn't even load. Bought some Taiyo Yudens and took the image off one of the discs that wouldn't burn. Burned it to the Taiyo Yuden and worked flawlessly.

When I burned the MDS after I burned it with Nero it didn't give me anything on the DVD. It had absolutely no data on it.

I'm going to get some TY's but should I get 8x or 4x?

Burn the ISO not the MDS. Something else to keep in mind. A couple of days ago I burned The Suffering: Ties that Bind. When I tried to load it that night I got the "Not a Valid PS2 Disk" error three times, so I gave up. The next night I tried to load it one more time before I re-burned, it booted the first time???? This has happened to me twice now, not sure why though.

I burned the ISO instead of the MDS.
