i upgraded my ps2 and they couldn't tell me which modchip was installed... i can play backup n import but i want to find out which modchip was installed... anyway to find out without opening the ps2? and they said dun overheat the ps2 or the laser will have problem... they are da only company who upgrade ps2 with modchip but they won't tell me wat they used... pliz give as many help as possible!!!

i would not trust anyone who will not tell me what mod chip
they put in. Most companies would have no problem doing that
unless they threw in some cheap crap clone chip.
And if it is a slim and they tell you don't let it overheat
it is most likely because they did not install a laser fix like
they should have. But the only way to find out now is to
open it up, find the modchip, and see what is written on it.
If you are in the US i could have told you a few GOOD sites that would have done it right.

well, i have a friend in the US and he modded his ps2... but i can't send my ps2 all the way to US and have it sent back cos its risky... i haven't solder anything b4 so i gave it in 2 da company... damn... but its working fine... just hope anything bad won't happen hehehe...
any good idea u can give me? i live in Fiji...

sh*t da modchip can't play psx games... now wat modchip can't play psx games? backup n imports... haven't try original yet... any help?
