Ahhhh - a good day today - finished exams, beautiful weather and bbq...and my TYG02's arrived from Amazon.jp. I had to get them shipped to my Japanese flatmate's parents' house, who then forwarded them to NZ.

Dang! These Taiyo Yudens are almost IMPOSSIBLE to obtain in New Zealand. Amazon won't send them to NZ - "unable to send to specified destination". Why the heck not?!

No online retailers in the US or Canada will ship outside the US or Canada - or the couple that do charge stupid shipping rates.

I can't believe in this day and age of supposed globalisation and e-commerce that TY's are so precioussss and restricted regarding shipment. Anyone would think I was trying to order crack cocaine or heroin for cryin' out loud!!!

(Smeagol can't wait to burn his first movie using his precioussss Ty's.)
